Scopo “the App” provides Shopify B2B sales operations tools, including customer and company assignment, sales rep attribution, order and draft order visibility, and manager reporting “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account in order to provide the Service. The information we may access includes:

  • Your store name and Shopify store information
  • Customer and company information needed to support sales rep assignment and visibility
  • Order and draft order information needed to support rep attribution and reporting
  • Staff or user information needed to connect sales reps, managers, and admins to assigned customers or companies
  • Metafields, tags, or other Shopify data used to store or read Scopo assignment and attribution settings

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. This includes assigning customers or companies to sales reps, attributing orders and draft orders to reps based on your store’s assignment rules, showing rep-specific views, providing manager visibility, maintaining app settings, and supporting the functionality of the App.

We may also use information to troubleshoot issues, improve the App, provide customer support, and maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We store and process the information needed to operate Scopo, including app settings, assignment rules, customer and company assignment data, and order attribution data, on servers hosted by our hosting and infrastructure service providers.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Data Retention

We retain information collected through the App for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you uninstall the App, we may retain certain information for a limited period where required for legal, security, backup, or operational purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
